Sorry for the off topic-ness. I thought someone on here could help because a lot of people seem to be doing it. Is there a nice easy bit of freeware out there for adding a stamp to batches of photos automatically. If this was able to resize as well that would be great. Some racers to make up for this thread. Thats a pretty cool grid. Somebody forgot to plug in their sat nav. All from here.

Google "windows powertoys Image resiser" and download it from wherever its hiding on the microsoft website. Just select all the images you want to re-size and right-click the mouse on them, it ads a new option to the right-click menu and gives you three pre-set common re-size options. No messing with other programs etc, done in seconds.

Cool pictures! ;D All mine are done in Photoshop - all my images get processed in there anyway, so I just have a pre-recorded action to add the border and bit across the bottom

doesnt that take ages though? About a second per photo once I've typed out the text, which I only have to do once per batch I have a pre-recorded action that for a given picture resizes, sharpens, alters the colour curves, adds a border, adds the text and background across the bottom and saves the result Takes maybe 2 seconds per photo. The time-consuming bit is the manual part - cropping and applying a few other layers and individual touches to each pic. But I don't mind, I like how they come out

so a pre-recorded action does it all for you?

so a pre-recorded action does it all for you? It does some of it for me, and the Action only took five minutes to make Each photo takes a good few minutes - I spend time cloning out stuff and cleaning things up, altering areas of the pic to highlight some bits and subdue others, you can't automate that...
