Let's see what the good people of retro rides come up with. Criteria is the daily must be reasonably reliable and/or interesting and the fun car can be anything you want but must fit in a garage max of 5 metres long, you can split the cash anyway you see fit. have at it Daily for £5k Fun car for £9k £4k left to fix them both!

I didn't even spend £1k and I already have my daily and my fun car. The Princess is the daily, because I don't know how to be normal.

I’d keep my current daily Alpina which leaves me £13000 for...

I'll put forward my own interpretation/situation... Import a datsun 280z from america, they're still pretty cheap over there and daily a honda civic ej9 both cars will be fun to drive and can easily have them both for below 18k. Plenty of parts around to fix the civic cheaply should it need it.

Reckon I got this very issue quite right last year. 4k Kia Diesel Estate as a daily and then this mental thing as a toy. Well North of 300bhp with almost zero lag and also very lightweight.. Was fun!
