	Hi all. New member here. I've heard good things about this site, I thought FB had seen off the forum but I stand corrected. I've owned my golf for coming up 18 or so years, very lucky find as me and a friend were going to look at a non running Corrado but the garage wouldn't answer when I called so as we'd booked the day off work we decided to see what else was about and he found this! It was bone stock when I got it. Did some work and upped the power. The engine was getting tired so the decision was to 20v it but keep the g60 (it's a g60 Syncro so has to stay g60 right). Anyway. Here's some pics from over the years...oh and it's been off the road for about 11 years now. New lower screen panel, bonnet hinge mounts remade, bonnet and wings repainted. Would recommend them. flic.kr/p/2da4sXb Rusty old stuff. Was in open storage which took its toll. flic.kr/p/2eg93bR flic.kr/p/2eg949x flic.kr/p/QuNjEZ Going through the car to replace the bodges that ended up staying. One stepper replaced with.... flic.kr/p/S817K9 Old brakes. Rusty. flic.kr/p/2da4sXb flic.kr/p/S816kf New brakes. Less rusty. flic.kr/p/2ebtxsQ Fitted flic.kr/p/2ebtxUb Injector upgrade. 308cc to flic.kr/p/2eg95kF On the inlet. flic.kr/p/2cSh5UR All new rear brakes. The rest is staying rusty until its time to pull it all off. flic.kr/p/23DDb2R This was pretty momentous. It never had any way to auto tension the drive belt, a piece of wood wedged between the alternator and head did the job for way too long. With the skills of my friends it now sports this. That's a very quick thread. It's also now had a Walbro fuel pump fitted, new brake lines, new fuel lines and hopefully this weekend we'll at least get it to turn over. It's not run for about 5 years.

	nice work, you can update the links by going into Flickr, opening the image then clicking on the Share button that looks like and Email forward button to the bottom right of the image. theres 4 options for how to share, click on the one labelled 'BBCode' and copy the image link that it provides those will then embed the images into the thread for you. car looks cool

	Welcome! Very nice MK2, brilliant to see another one a little more performance focussed rather than scene What size are the Wilwoods you are running? Look like a great upgrade (and still fit under the 15's?).

I think these wheels could accommodate 308mm but no need I think. It should be able to stop well (Not tried them out yet)

The original engine was knocking so a decision was made. My thought was it wouldn't be a g60 Syncro if it's not got a G60 on it. Would be so much easier to made power with the turbo but that's boring right?

	Can that charger make the same boost required for decent power? My ARZ makes around 200bhp on a ko3 with 25psi, my AUM makes 231bhp with a ko3s at 24psi.

It's only been on the dyno once and it made 227hp. Power didn't let off so it was ran to the limiter. It then had a live map and the injectors were running at 100% duty cycle (308cc). Tuners butt dyno said about 240hp.
