My intention this year is to attend a few local car meets in the daily with the family in tow so I can relax and enjoy looking at other cars rather than worry about prepping and showing mine.
I wanted Ethan to see the world’s fastest shed, so I checked where it would be this weekend.
First I went to both the Long Itch Diner in Long Itchington (CV47 9QZ) where there is a custom car and classic American meetup first Sunday of every month called the butty run. It’s been going for years but always been off my radar.
I was there about half an hour and witnessed a good variety, it seems there’s a quick turnaround so stay a bit longer and more stuff would come and go.

Then 25 minutes down the road we have a new venue which I hope is going to live long, Caffeine & Machine is a recently converted as a normal pub into a car themed pub / hotel / outdoor car space.
Apologies if there has already been a thread about the venue but it’s got a great variety of drinks and food and a welcoming atmosphere.
There was a big new mini meet on Sunday but apart from that was a large selection of super cars and classics of all shapes, sizes, and ages.
They were meeting demand well and there is a large heated teepee with picnic tables in to accommodate lots of people.
It seems like the kind of place you can turn up any weekend or summer evening and see a whole host of different interesting stuff every time.
Just a small selection...
