Ford Capri v8 engine mounts for sale.
These mounts can be used when you are converting a Ford Capri to a Ford v8 engine like the 289 / 302 / 5.0 / 5.0 ho etc.
When I converted my Ford Capri to a v8, I found out that there were almost no conversion mounts available. So I decided to make a couple of extra sets.
These mounts are brand new, galvanised and rubber mounts are included. They have 3 holes so you can mount the engine in 3 different positions. You can use your original Ford subframe, and there is no need to cut the firewall.
These mounts will save you a lot of time while doing this a conversion. The engine will clear the servo, steering shaft, steering rack etc
A little side note: what you see is what you get. There is no transmission mount included, you will have to fabricate your own.
Price is fixed, and is 135 GBP including shipping from the Netherlands to the UK. For other country's please contact me for shipping costs.
I will accept bank transfer or through PayPal.
If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Team blitz do an engine mount for $190 plus delivery from US
I've been looking at doing this myself, but not going to be starting until atleast next winter.
I see you have a manual rack and a non strengthened chassis. Have you tried this on a v6 2.8 crossmember with a power steering box? I'm going to try and keep my powersteering, if these mounts work would save me some time and effort.

Hi, thanks for your interest! I've seen the team blitz mounts on a post somewhere, but decided to make my own. So it seems I'm selling them to cheap then.😉
Anyways, I have a manual steering rack on a standard subframe. I've seamwelded all the seams on the frame so no problems there.
Not exactly sure what you mean with 'non strengthened chassis'? I did add some strengthening where the chassis legs meet the bulkhead.
I have not tried this on a power steering rack. If you think that space is an issue, you could always add some steel spacers between the mounts and the engine?
If it helps I can take some measurements?

Mrgofast V6 Shells have a couple of extra strengthening parts. The top strut additional plate Triangular strenghtheners on bulkhead to inner wing Maybe a couple extra bits i forget. Not sure how much they actually strengthen the shell. But Ford did it. I am certainly intrested ill hit you up in the new year. TBH they look like they will fit, was just intrested in if you had tried it on a v6/powersteering car

Thanks for your explanation! I think my car was originally a 2.0 v6, but with it feels very rigid, even with all the extra horses.
I thought over here only the 2.8i shells got those strengthening? Not sure though.
You can contact me next year if your still interested, no problem.
