I want to put bike carbs on my Daihatsu.
Its a 3 cylinder CB23 engine, and I have a set of ZX6R bike carb that I can split individually so I can just use the 3 needed.
I was just wondering if anyone has done similar and would have some advice?

it wont be any different to fitting them to 4 5 6 or more cylinders..
triumph have been doing triples for about 30 years though.

I split my ninja carbs to respace them to match the inlet ports so if you are splitting them anyway I would suggest you do this as it makes making a manifold so much easier. I extended the throttle tabs on each carb, extended the choke slide and made up longer fuel inlets to match. There is an article in an old PPC magazine where the guy puts bike carbs on a 6 cylinder BMW 5 Series. I have it at home, will try and search it out.

Thats cool, thanks man. I will have to do some research on that one and have a look.
Also need to find someone to cut me a plate to make my manifold off..
