Last weekend there was a fundraiser for kids from the local dance school who have been give the opportunity to go to the US. The main attraction (well the only attraction unless you wanted your face painted and a go on the bouncy castle) was an assortment of cars and bikes from the local club.
I went along clutching my $10 entry fee, some change in case there was a sausage sizzle (and there was
), and my point and shoot camera. Here are the results (except the sausage, it is long gone).
Chevy Master Rod

450SL – I occasionally wonder if I could get one of these approved by SWMBO before they get too expensive. I suspect a new kitchen takes priority, and would be cheaper to buy and maintain.

Hairdresser’s car (No, it is. It belongs to the bloke who owns the local barbershop). It is very, very clean and a really nice colour combo. It is also a genuine Australian assembled RHD car.

I think this is a 1968 Chrysler 300 (I mean, I know it is a Chrysler 300, I’m just not sure of the year). The fins and rocket inspired lights had started to be toned down, but they are still there, just.

4. Frenched rear lights? Tick. Not only that they’re off a Cadillac
5. Chopped top? Tick
