Fully rebuilt 2.25 petrol engine, using all new quality parts from Turner Engineering.
Overbored 10thou, new pistons and rings
Crankshaft 10thou under, new bearings
New Camshaft
Block and head skimmed to ensure both are perfectly flat
New valves, springs, valve guides, hardened valve seats,
Etc..Etc…
New carburettor
New Borg and Beck Clutch and release bearing
New 1st gear and 3rd/4th syncromesh fitted to gearbox
New rear half chassis, front section is still good
Bulkhead never welded and very good condition indeed
New petrol tank and fuel sender
New Shocks all round
90% of brake lines are New
New brake flexi hoses
New wheel cylinders
New master cylinder
New Mintex brake shoes
New tyres
New steering joints x2
Chassis stripped and painted
New drivers seat
New window channels
It has a rare Dowty hydraulic pump running off the gearbox to run external accessories - not tested
Comes with a truck cab, door tops and a canvas and frame for the rear behind the truck cab. Unfortunately someone in the past has fitted a sunroof to the truck cab.
It has done about 100 miles since rebuild so should be treated by the new owner as needing running in, and oil changing when running in complete.
Battle scars/dings/scrapes are still present on the body but that to me is part of the charm.
I have spent far too much time and money bringing this land rover upto its present condition and with another baby on the way I could do with the funds back - having said this I am not going to be accepting silly offers.

Please be aware this still drives like an old land rover, so don't be expecting it to drive like a new car with lots of driver aides.
It is currently sorn, test drives only with proof of insurance.
