they will look at your reciept. If they think the valueis "wrong" they can make their own value up. They will also charge VAT on the cost of shipping. I am going to have a giggle seeing them price up an old, rusty soviet relic, I really am.

This is great! Trying to truck back twelve unloved Russian beauties... Only here could that be discussed as a viable, sane thing to do. Tigran you legend, I don't care what the outcome is but it sounds great... ;D
I can see them landing at Dover now, people lining the streets and cheering... Ahh.

Love the idea- happy to get a bit involved if you want to 'offset' some of the space.

I am going to have a giggle seeing them price up an old, rusty soviet relic, I really am. Bit of a double-edged sword here, what if they had a Tatra come through a few months ago and value them at £2000 each? Might be worth a chat with the USSR club, or that film prop place I linked to on the last page with the UAZ to see how much they go for. You can keep a printout in your back pocket, claim they all cost $100 each but if you're challenged with a £2k price you can come back with $250 or something.

Not sure yet dude, prices range from $100 to $1000 here depending on year so would be a shame to not make the most of a strong pound. The 1999 year uaz jeeps are fetching about $3-5k, however getting a new one in would be pointless as it would be in the same condition as a 70/80's one.
p.s. anyone got a link to the USSR club? I have googledskied it until (literally) the cows came home but found nowt.
