My father in law has owned this for many years years and I decided to get it on the road maybe 3 years ago. It just needed a battery, points, oil change etc and it started fine. I put a water pump on it too. Ran well and would do 80 mph if you kept the old girl pinned (has a 1098). It's not a genuine convertible and it shows. The seats are from a rover I think, the guy who had it before my f.i.l used to drive it to France and wanted it comfy.
Its now more suitable as a basis for a project although you could drive it about quite easily. I think the fuel pump needs replacing and it will prob need another battery. Car has been dry stored for years. Collection on a trailer only.
