This lovely little 127 CL has been undergoing work at renowned Italian car specialists Italicar in Norwich for me.
Now, sadly, due to a change in personal circumstances, I am no longer in a position to continue with the restoration and so it must be sold.
Italicar will happily continue with the work for the new owner if necessary and in fact I would recommend this as their work is to a very high standard.
The car is a 1980 model 1050 CL and has had one owner for most of its life. Only 85000 miles from new!
There is a lot of previous service history prior to its long "hibernation" before being rescued by Italicar a couple of years ago.
It is very, very solid. A brand new, NOS bonnet was fitted but all other panels are original. There was a small amount of welding done earlier this year on the sills etc.
The interior is great - lovely blue velour seats, original radio, colour coded stalks and all! The headlining does droop considerably though....
Mechanically, it has so far had a little recommissioning work.
It now has an MOT! In fact, I have actually driven it a couple of times and it is SO much fun! There is not actually a huge amount of work required to get it smartened up and fully back on the road. A full respray was planned but not started yet.
The car can be viewed at Italicar in Norwich but please ask any questions and queries here first.
Sensible offers welcome!
Thanks for looking.
