1978 Mitsubishi Colt Sapporo 2.0 GSR manual.
Very rare car, only a handful of these about in the UK.
Genuine UK car, not an import.
Overall this car has been well looked after all its life and has had very little welding for one of these, and is a very original example.
Was painted after the welding was carried out a few years back. Since then it has just been sitting in dry storage, then this past year, stored in the yard, so paint work now needs a good clean, and bit of bubbling along the front bonnet edge and few other areas. Few marks from storage in areas too.
Will be supplied with the original tin of paint from restoration, for comparison and touch ups etc.
Fitted with a really cool set of JDM style pressed metal number plates, front and rear.
Interior is all complete and all original. Overall its in great condition, and just needs a light clean and hoover, apart from the drivers seat that has a rip along the seat bolster (To be honest an easy repair for a trimmers).
Was running and driving fine when last went into storage a year ish ago, however now playing up slightly - (Needs a new battery, fresh fuel in the tank, new service parts and points setting properly), I was going to up grade to electronic ignition, as that's what's on my other Sapporo, and make it ultra reliable for a classic. Mechanically these cars are built proof and engines were way ahead of there time, so there wont be any real head aces etc!
Sold as a complete car, needing light re commissioning etc.
Full logbook, keys and history/ paperwork all included, plus a few spares etc.
Was hoping to hang on to this car, but its been sitting around a while and I haven't done much with it so will be good to see it go to a good home.
Obviously these pics were taken when it went into storage so looks slightly dustier now etc. Will try and up date photos soon....
located, Ware, Hertfordshire.
Transport available, nation wide at cost, just ask for a quote.
Thanks, Matt
