Right, I've kept these two back for different reasons. Firstly..... There were some great cars there today but, without a doubt, this is the one I would have taken home with me, If I could. Just as cool as, it is excessive, stylish, practical, ugly and beautiful beyond comparison, in my eyes. America, once, long ago, made THE most sensational cars. Then there was this.... It doesn't fit in, right? There was a 16 plate Mustang convertible, which I sat in and, yes, it was lovely. A modern Camaro was there, resplendent in silver and it looked right at all angles. That Dodge? It is unmistakably US made, as the Mustang and Camaro are. If they were debadged and somebody, without car knowledge, was asked where they thought they were made, 92.5% would probably say the USA. Maybe that is the point. A modern Beetle, Mini or 500 simply would just be modern cars, like in a carpark but those US machines shout out more. I've been looking at ex police Chargers, white or black on standard steel wheels and heavy duty suspension...……. Each to their own!

I put it away wet at the end of September. It really isn't clean. That black on black Chevelle is nails!!
I’d cut off my index finger with a kitchen knife for that.

This page has been sitting open on my work computer for nearly a month now, just so I can flick over to it for a minute or two during a stressful day. The blue Chevy stepside and the white Cadillac both get me every time. There's something nostalgic, tragic yet wonderful about a Cadillac with peeling paint and generally diapidated look. Kind of like Brighton.
