You'll never see through that windscreen. Oh, and you'll need wheels. If you need any engineering help, I'm clearly a feckin' genius. (Keep up the good work!)

X-RAY GLASSES WILL SOLVE MY SCREEN PROBLEM, MAGNETIC LEVITATION IN PLACE OF WHEELS. BUT i AM A BIT WORRIED THAT ALL THE PARCEL-TAPE WILL COME OFF WHEN IT RAINS

How will you be creating the polycarbonate double curved windows? Is it a massive vac-forming machine?

I am thinking of having a go myself with drape-moulding.I have had a vac-forming machine in the past doing rc car bodies,so no issues with the technique,I am thinking of trying a one-off oven and try some cheap thin polycarbonate first,, needs around 130degC(something like that).I watched some pros doing drape-moulding on youtube, they had the polycarb sheet on a big metal tray, slid it out of the oven like a pizza then slid the polycarb off the tray onto the mould and smoothed it with gloves. Sounds easy, right?bet it isnt! but if all fails I will get tyhem done at the boat-screen makers in Auckland, I have a good contact with the owner through my racing mates.Really, I would like to get a laminated glass screen made, they do them here in NZ, I think that would be about 2k?Problem with polycarb is scratching,so would have to be really well cared for

presumably then your local regs don't dictate a glass windscreen then?

NZ has a Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association (LVVTA) a group of Hotrodders,Kitcar builders etc who have been VERY successful over the years liasing with Govt Transport agency for sensible rules that allow people like me to build and drive specialty cars. Tey got Polycarb windscreens approved a while ago, I think it was mainly for the Rodders who do roof-chops on cars with curved screens as it is very difficult to cut a stock screen without breaking it(in the past I have had 1 success, 1 failure with cutting down an OEM laminated windscreen..thats an expensive success rate!)

I've always loved the Stradale shape. The Busso V6 is gorgeous to look at....and has the sound to back up the power. Looking forward to seeing this project progress. I also respect the NZ approach to getting things done!

Yep,I am a proud Kiwi.I forgot about these 2 pics that are now out of sequence, but show how I used a small very sharp block-plane to smooth the contours before taping

I should be working right now, but... I hope someone builds the requisite tube frame for this and adds an Alfa 164S motor...
(Stares at this for 5 more minutes)
Ok, since I work in a hospital-
