I love these. 2 favourite cars was MK1 uno turbo and citreon visa gti. Tinfoil based cars with stupid engine are great. Great to see a MK1 uno still running about.

It's a great car and to be honest, I think for the most part, a retro car should be used how I'm using mine. I mean, to be fair, everyone back in the day had a car similar to mine, doing exactly what I'm doing with mine, so why not keep using it just the same right? Haha Cheers mate |

Agree fully, I too have used my mk1 Uno for everything over the years, commuting, traveling to the coast. Used it to move house, took it on a race track a few times. And even driving through the worst snow and heavy rain, whatever I needed to do. The little Uno has done it all, and ( touch wood ) has looked after me well. As it was my only car for a good while, but for the last couple of years I kind of went a bit mad on buying cars!! So the Uno has took a slight back seat, but has been my main go to back up for when my daily has been out of action. I'll post up some updates soon on mine, as it's been a while since I've posted about it on RR. Anyway it's great to see another Uno on here, gives me a bit of push to do a bit more with mine |

Agree fully, I too have used my mk1 Uno for everything over the years, commuting, traveling to the coast. Used it to move house, took it on a race track a few times. And even driving through the worst snow and heavy rain, whatever I needed to do. The little Uno has done it all, and ( touch wood ) has looked after me well. Haha... well I've only got as far as some alloys and lowering springs on mine!!
But other than that, I've just been servicing it and driving it.
Really needs some bits of interior, bodywork and paint. Which I keep saying I'll get someone to do, ooh.. probably for the last three years. So I best pull my finger out, as it's been long over due.

I just dunno what to do lol It's a tough one, sometimes life, money and other stuff kind of gets in the way. And despite your best intentions, it doesn't always work out how you plan. It looks a tidy one and I'm sure someone will buy it, I would be interested myself but I got enough on as it is!!! And I need to stop buying cars, it's been a sort of addiction the last couple of years lol |

The little ol'uno has now gone to it's bee happy owner, I'm absolutely gutted it's gone but needs must!
