I know this is a bit new but the convoy shape has been around the mid 90s so may be of interest because it definitely looks a lot older than it is . This van came about purely by chance as a motor home clearance because my commer wasant getting fixed anytime soon and it was super cheap We thought we could do a rolling resto and make a few quid on it when the commer was ready . It didn't have it's good and bad BITS it was all just a bit bad but ended up being just right for going away in After expensive trouble with the 2.4 duratorque diesel pump ( has an engine mounted ecu which shakes it's self to bits no surprise there then ) and timing belt jumping it now runs amazing Found a 2nd hand bonnet and got that painted and fitted cos the skin rota away from the frame On the outside I've repaired a rear arch and painted which got knocked off by a guy who skidded into it in the ice . I've since found a pair of arches and fitted and painted that along with the damage to the aluminium. The colour scheme is very grim so currently working my way round the outside of it getting rid of as much brown as I can.

Definitely looks older than 04! Cream is somehow cool though. Could you fit a Sherpa front end on it even?

I love this!
My old man always had LDV when he was self employed the last one being a very tidy 200 with a Perkins prima so I’ve always had a soft spot for them.
Keep up the good work

Well Val the motorhome has been a pain in my side and has had a serious amount of work this year After me buying a cheap 323 to run round I had to do get the van ready for going away in which was down to the wire as always So I rebuilt the whole rear braking system from the cables back sorted out some headlight wiring Heater control valve Horn Plenty of rust proofing and under sealing and that got the mot in the bag I thought I examine closer where I suspected dampn this is where it all went downhill

That's a relief on the tyres! The rest of it is coming along nicely. Looks like it has a decent amount of headroom.
