1979 T reg RENAULT 5 LeCar
Limited edition model of 1st generation Renault 5 - 1000 produced in this spec with alloy wheels/plush interior/& 5TS type 1298cc engine. Remember this is the model with longditudinally mounted engine with gearbox in front of engine. Now quite rare & bits are suppossedly quite sought after....or so i'm told!
This R5 was damaged in 1984 & driven into a dry garage by a motor trader where it remained untouched until excavated last week. It was to be repaired but after 30+ years the owner finally decided he was unlikely to ever get round to doing it!
The damage can be seen in the photographs. In addition (sadly) the interior has been partially stripped with carpets, passenger seat & one part of the rear seat now missing. This is pity as the LeCar had rather nice red high back seats etc. However, the original drivers seat remains and appears undamaged. The 5 original nice alloy wheels also remain in place.
The car rolls easily & i think the engine even turns - though i'd need to check this
properly. There are NO DOCUMENTS but the car appears on the DVLA system so
a V5 could be acquired on application if it was intended to revive the poor thing.
Key is present
Can be collected from CV8 or can be delivered at modest cost - provide location for

It shows a recorded mileage of 49k and is sold for parts or to repair
