Hi all
I am trying to sound out peoples views and requirements about car storage. The reason I am asking is that I may be able to get access to a barn on a farm near Bicester. Its 2800 square feet and is secure. As some on here may know, I've been running a vehicle transport business for a few years and this would be the next logical step to expand. I would concentrate on projects and more everyday type of cars, not supercars or high value vehicles.
The farm belongs to a relative and he has a few conditions if he decides to rent out the barn to me.
1/ No work is to be carried out on the vehicles while in storage
2/ Access is only to be by appointment through me as he doesn't want strangers wandering about
3/ No cars to be outside, all inside and out of view.
The questions I have about this are
1/ How much can I charge?
2/ Does anyone on here currently store their car and if so, do you have any contract?
3/ Do you have your own insurance for laid up cover?
Any and all views or advice is welcome
