all change! will the project be coming along before or after sale? rolling or stationary? you cant just tease like that! glws. I have to be sensible. And only replace once its sold. Not sure about rolling or stationary yet. But it may involve a 600 mile viewing road trip and 300 mile drive home in it. sensible schmensible......! if you are planning on driving it home its , at least initially , rolling. not been sat in a hedge for 40 years!

How time flies. Bought it more than 10 years ago. And my taste in slightly weird, certainly practical Cars has not really changed. 1963 Ford Taunus Transit. Would love an 80’s style Bedford or Chevy Dayvan or panelvan.

So today the one Bootfair was slow, and only half a field. The second, larger one was filled with pink sh!t and nothing of interest at all. Still, I managed to buy this roll of upholstery vinyl leatherette for £7.00 or $10.00 and have it planned for the Blazers possible replacement Ford wagon was 20p or 25cents I still remember the Pontiac LeMans wagon from a few years ago...... really liked that. And maybe should have bought it, still, too late for regrets. Found mate craigrk a small Meccano bike and sidecar for 50p So home early. Haul included these bits. Bunch of Lesley Matchbox cars and trucks, no idea why, just needed them. Wagon and Mercedes Benz may be my favourites Big Union Jack blanket thing is ideal for rear of Blazer or a picnic, and at £1.00 a no brainier, already washed and hung out. Shell fuel Bowzer will go to St Louis in September for Dennis’ gas station. Cooler bag and six freezer bricks was £1.00 for Sally, as were three boxes of tea light candles. So nothing much but a few bargains. Meanwhile on UKGSER the guys are trying to figure out the possible replacement for the Blazer once it sells. Next job, cut hedges today.

Great power and very good on juice....! yes, yes, I was last Saturday night good on the juice too, Sunday morning I thought that I wasn't that good on the juice after all. So, not sure if being good on the juice is a good thing or not Anyway I like this. Just something to enjoy for a bit and see what happens. I can see a great little road trip happening soon. It's only 2200KM's. Drive 300KM odd KM's in the morning and enjoy the afternoon on location. Must be a great trip!! You can chuck a swag in the back and sleep in your bakkie!!

But not feeling that right now. Have you had much interest in blazer? Less than expected, but one guy from the Midlands was very interested, but when I sent the postcode, he said it was too far.

Not as unrelated as it may seem. Remember the roll of vinyl Leatherette I bought last weekend? Unrolled it yesterday to see just how long it is. Well, more than twice what I thought, so at £7.00 for the roll, makes it cheap. This is double so x2 And some more, you do the maths....... Adding it all up, comes to 38 foot by 4 foot or in modern measurement 11.6 meters long and 1.450 wide. Colour is a bit deceptive at this distance and angle. Beer cans for colour perspective. My friend Dennis has been hampered by the amount of rain in Missouri this year, but managed at last to cast the island for his Shell gas station yesterday, and again, it started to rain just as they finished the job. He also finished an English sign, which in the USA means Burnouts Almost done, final flatting was due. The Blazer was parked up outside, sideways on my drive yesterday just in case someone saw it and was interested. You never know. And finally, how the day ended here last night. Waiting for disasterbus to get here in half an hour....... Should be a good visit.

Just adding these two random clips. Blazer still for sale, and more importantly, tyre kicking etc. One clip of wasting fuel on my drive. And this one made this morning when mate Kerry came to drop off some stuff for me. I had to force him to drive the Blazer (NOT) The guy is a gentle driver. disasterbus

Can post at your cost for post and packaging. The rest of the stuff........ All the spray painting bits, including airbrush kit, available FREE for collection only. Keeping these bits And of course a bunch of plates, a couple will be headed overseas tomother collectors. My absolute favourite. Screwed up,plate from his Mustang. Lastly, into my pile of joy. Couple of knobs. Dennis sent some more updates on his gas station build.

Father’s Day sucks..... Unless you are a father or have one. Bootfairs were both small. This meant having to go slower and looking deeper. Sally on camera duty it seems. First blood to me, with a new, unused leather belt for one of my work suits. Shortly after Craig got a turn. Fully functioning traffic lights, or Robots as they are known in South Africa Seller£5.00. Craig £4.00 Next up, three complete units for £7.00 Then Sally saw this balance bike for her grandson. Seller: £5.00 Me: will you take £4.00 Used, but like new. Retail price for these are a bit more. Craig again. £2.00 for a mixer tap he plans to use at his caravan camping site with a used kitchen sink that came out my kitchen 8 years ago. 20p for Craig’s collection of small tools. Seller:10.00 it’s a bargain, got brass cap. Craig: Offer him £8.00 So back home a final pic. Tap fittings 50p Two tyre irons for Sally’s son £2.00 Gruffalo mug 50p 4 steel skewers £1.00 3 small Turkish bowls 50p Work tie for me 20p Savings tin for Sally’s grandson 50p 3 rolls of yellow masking tape £3.00 Bad Taste Bear 50p That’s the lot, great weekend too.

I've never been a fan but, Saturday night My Little Darlin' Tania announced we were going to have a hangover for Father's Day. Queue several hours the two of us chilling on the balcony, drinking icy cold ones. We did the same on my birthday, at her instigation, and it seems like it could be a regular fortnightly fixture. Very, very pleasant.

Very, very pleasant. More said in jest as bootfairs were dead. Filling less than 1/3 at the first field and less than half at no2 You seem to have been treated well. Thats a good thing. A most generous comment on my Blazer For Sale ad. Maybe I was too critical.
