Goes without saying lights much better.
I think you should bobby trap the soup with a remote detonator, we had rats in our garden they were living in the compost heap and eating spilled bird food.

If you had used my .375 Holland and Holland hunting rifle I used to use with a 300 grain bullet, that bowl of soup would have been all that was left of the rat.....

I don’t think ist has been hit Robert, why?? Rubbish positioning? Waste not, want not! Good way to live. Way better rear lights now!! Thanks Alan, very happy with the lights,,they were one of my biggest pet hates on this truck.

Or just stop putting out food for Mr Fox. I contemplated poison blocks, but it’s a whole, eco system at risk then. Randomness first. Dennis sent me a few pics. Firstly his step son Bryan’s first deer kill of the season..... now delicious Jerky. And a truck he was invited to work on for a friend this week..... pretty. Remember the 2018 Road trip? craigrk is a keen Coca Cola collector. He had found a Coke lighter, rare as a rare thing, then found another for sale in Hannibal that Dennis sent over with my lowering shackles and it included a very cool salt n pepper set. Dennis has been fitting the inner metal to the dummy gas station. Not easy, but getting it done. With the snow and cold weather he has had to get other jobs done. Outside signs going up. Saturday night dinner with Joy and her cat Mitzi, a good looking boy, loves to sleep in the draining rack. No idea why. One of the plates I got from Andy in Oklahoma in September, 1963, my birth year. And back in the U.K........ Another small job I got done today. Before After.

Slow start to my day, the cold and damp, chilly and breezy weather slowing my motivation a bit, well, a lot. So eventually made it to the garage by 13.30 Decided to give tinting the rear glass in the tailgate a go on my own. Reversed the truck tint into the garage and then started to get the tailgate glass out, exposed and ready for tinting. Glass measured 1550mm X 480mm Cleaned and ready. So cut it on the folding table Martin got me from his mums house, date stamped 1960 on the underside. Beats throwing it away. Small jobs, they all take time, some more than others, even the planning of the execution of this. Added a steel ruler to the one end, to weigh it down when I got to removing the backing sheet. Stretched Then removing the rear backing film. One needs an octopus realistically to manage all the sides and getting it all sprayed wet before application. Even my tweets held onto a tab. Film applied. Not looking good. But there is hope, in the form of a squeegee Much rubbing, squueegeeing and swearing at the wind. Done. Far from perfect, but at less than £10.00 for the rear and side glass, I am happy with the results. Prozac the Van that can looking on. Last photo taken specifically for the guys in America to illustrate the reverse lights being reused as indicators with yellow/amber lightbulbs. Once that was done, I did the front wheel lettering. Another small job done, never made it out to the shops. Need to go shopping tomorrow and find myself some waterproof slimline LED reverse lights to mount under the bumper. Thanks for checking in and all your comments and advice so far. As for all the stalkers........ 🤔🦃

I assume you painted the lettering over? If they are proper white-outliners you can refresh the white by gently scrubbing the lettering with a scouring pad or scotchbrite, the lettering is a huge white band cast into the sidewall with the lettering on, you can't rub through the lettering so you can do this as often as you need. ETA: Nice work on the tinting, looks really good!

Be interested to see how long it lasts Vs. scrubbing. My GRIPMAX A/T's need SOMETHING but I am not ever in the mood to rub them all down..

What have you got left to do on this before you get back to the C10?

Window tint film is a total ..rse. All you need is one miniscule bit of dust you missed when cleaning the glass and the window looks like somebody has pitched a tent in the middle of a very flat field. Rather you than me....😁

What have you got left to do on this before you get back to the C10? Lots left to do. Nothing has to be done, I just keep tinkering because it’s “Not a Project” Front wheel bearings, seals etc, rear springs need new bushes, and the actual sequence of the springs may be out too, for those with critical or eagle eyes, and fitting of reverse lights I bought at 11.00pm last night. C10 will be addressed in summertime, as it is all welding and primer and paint. Window tint film is a total ..rse. All you need is one miniscule bit of dust you missed when cleaning the glass and the window looks like somebody has pitched a tent in the middle of a very flat field. Rather you than me....😁 Absolutely correctly described JB, a pinched tent in a flat field. Then add in 40year old, scratched, marked glass on the outside, rubber seals that saw better days 30 years ago and it is not easy, etc etc...... It is very far from a great job, but at under £10.00 for all three of these windows, it is a bargain like many bargains are, good enough. Main thing is that it keeps eyes out the rear of the Blazer where the jack, spare belts and bits reside in that period correct tote bag you see in some of the pics, as well as the spare wheel, so it keeps scrote eyes out to some extent, and in my opinion, as it is my truck, looks OK too as. Bonus. Bought some back up or reversing lights for the truck, mainly for getting down the side of my house in the dark, as I always reverse it down to the garage as doing a 5 point turn on the grass would destroy and mark it, done once already a few weeks ago. Had really good reviews from about 5 guys with American cars and trucks who fitted them. I will not be adding fog lights too, as they look rubbish and we’re never fitted originally. Then just need to find the original reverse light between the ones cut on the loom, and ensure the reverse switch on the steering column actually works, or else fit an over ride switch to turn them into rear facing spotlights. Off work today, so certainly out with the Blazer to go shopping and for a decent drive. Later.

re: prying eyes, did any of the blazers come with a load cover thingy, indoor version of tonneau cover. retofitted one to the atra wagon and its a godsend honestly Morning mate, Not as far as I know, remember 40 years ago, break ins were possibly less of an issue. Also, this thing is almost 6 foot wide inside, so making something to cover the rear would not be worth my while. But I will keep an eye out for a ready made solution, like a black window blind type structure.

yeah exactly, those retractable roller type. out of curiosity googled it, one result was blazer forum and someone adapted one from a 93 jimmy. looks like some of them go from left to right, rather than front rear.

I have one of these lights. It's a great little light. Really nice and bright. I got my one really cheap as I found it on the side of the road. I was going to work and saw it on the side of the road. I passed it first before I realized what I had seen. I turned around and picked it up. A car must have lost it as it is damaged a little. I had no use for it. What to do with one spot light? I installed it in the back of my Delica and run it of my interior light. I use it all the time when we camping. It is now my kitchen light. You can just see it near my curtain. It's only a little smaller than yours. So, make sure you secure it well, they apparently can come of...
