I went to Castle Combe Rally Action Day last Saturday and it was wet! Really wet. Lots of cars in attendance from many different eras of rallying, but surprisingly very few Group B cars and no current WRC cars.
Anyways pictures
Sorry about the quality of these ones, but they were taken from a long way away with an iPhone in less than good light conditions, but it gives you and idea of the conditions.
Like most of these events, the members club displays were excellent with lots of very nice cars.
And last but not least another Escort (there were loads, as you would expect) but this one, in my opinion is probably rather rare and easily overlooked. This is an Escort Mk5 (maybe Mk5.5 or Mk6, can't tell them apart) RS2000 4x4, i'm not sure how many of these were made by Ford Europe but there can't be too many surviving today.
All in all a good show ruined by the rain and lack of Group B machinery, imo.
