I have decided to sell this car, which I was keeping as a project for next year, but my circumstances are changing.
I have added some pictures below, but here is a link to my OneDrive with several more:

Overall the car is presentable and my son and I did a lot of work on it last year, so it now runs and stops very well. A fair bit of welding was done last year to the floor, inner rear wheel arches and under the battery tray so it is now structurally sound underneath. Basically, we got caught out by a dodgy MoT issued in 2016, as you will see if you have a look here:
The interior is in good condition, bar the odd cigarette burn and a repair to the driver's seat bolster, but I have the necessary parts to sort these out. I replaced some of the springs in the driver's seat, which is a very common problem.
This year the MoT tester mentioned slight wear in the bottom front ball joints, and I have replacements for those, but haven't got around to fitting them yet.
The lower half of the car has obviously been repaired and resprayed in the past, but rust is now starting to reappear in the rear wheel arches and front wing bottoms. There is also a little on the leading edge of the bonnet.
There is a slight leak from the rear window into the boot, so I have applied sealant pending further investigation. Again, this is a common issue, and not just with W123s.
I had 4 new Avon ZT5 tyres fitted in April this year, so the car is perfectly safe and reliable to use as a daily driver, it just needs some bodywork on the lower half to improve its appearance.
I also have all the parts for a 5 speed conversion - Gertrag GL275B (M-B 717.401) gearbox, propshaft, gear change assembly, speedo cable, gearbox mount and complete clutch assembly, and these are available for £500 in total.
Mileage is about 130,000 and the current MoT expires in May 2019.
