Sadly new to find a new home for Berty the Mini, I have owned it for just over 2 years and have carried out a lot of work to make it a very solid car. I bought it as an unfinished projecte and have spent most of the 2 years finishing it off. It has had:
New Front end (wings,front panel)
New A Panels
Inner arches
Door Steps
Inner sills
outer sills
Rear valance
Rear Subframe cleaned repaired and powder coated
Door Bottoms
Replacement boot lid
New Radiator
New hoses
New water pump
Engine service
Electronic ignition conversion
New suspension bushes
New carpet
Bluetooth/usb stereo with rear speaker board
Waxoiled to help protect the new metal
repainted in original Russet brown not a show finish but looks ok
The rust was cut out not just plated over the top like many people do, I have photos to prove.
It is mechanically sound as well I have been using it for my daily commute of 40 miles with no issues almost more fun than my modified one!998cc so good on fuel and very reliable just coming up to 51,000 miles
Also It has very nice interior from a later Mini which works really well with the brown, I have not spent loads on blinging it up with wheels and shiny bits as i'm leaving it for someone else to put their style on it
Reason for selling is that I have too many cars (so i'm told) and my other Mini is in need of some work so this needs to go in order to fund it
