Here for sale is my 1974 Vauxhall firenza 2300 project. Had this car for nearly thirteen years and it’s fair to say it’s had its ups and downs.
Currently sort of running but does need the timing sorting out as won’t rev up properly.
Engine is a 2300 slant engine with a single Webber 38 carb sat on a proper manifold which needs tuning up. New clutch was fitted and the car has literally done 35/40 miles since I’ve done it.
Wheels are mini light alloys with as new tyres again low miles.
Interior is tidy with one or two bits of stitching come undone on the seats. Dash needs wiring in but also have the original one to fit back in.
Body wise it’s very straight with two bits needing work and the front valance needs sorting out where it joins the front wings.
Needs painting but nothing wrong with the look how it is.
Exhaust system is on but needs sealing as the one joint blows a little.
Currently waiting for the logbook to come back as I sent it off to get the taxation class changed to historic tax, the free mot was also applied for just to fetch it from the garage that did the work on it.
It’s with a very heavy heart I’m doing this but personal reasons are pushing me to sell it.
Car is in nailsea near Bristol.
