I had to do a repair on my van yesterday, almost finished and ran out of gas. I had a couple of old disposable bottles to get it finished but it's made me wonder about how much I have actually used the bottle. The answer to that is not a lot.
I get them from a local company and they are the 10 Litre ones. Is there any easy way to tell you are getting what you pay for ?
When it's stored I leave the regulator fitted but turn the bottle tap off. I was wondering if it was leaking out over time.

As a failsafe, always wind the pressure right down at night

bottle should have a tare weight marked on it , you need to weigh the bottle then its a simple sum

Isn’t pressure also going to be a variable?
