Hi folks, I've just restored a triumph herald rolling chassis and plonked an mx5 engine and box on wood on top of it.
I've read that the flange from the diff and the exit from the box need to be parallel (the same angle) to avoid judder from the prop shaft.
Problem is that the exit from the diff is off centre (do I need to take this into account and if so how?)
Also the exit from the diff is slightly angled towards the floor so the engine and box needs to do the same (to be the same angle for the prop shaft not to judder) this is going to make the prop sit at a steep angle.
I have pictures, how do I put them up?
