Although I don't have a Retro on the rod at the moment, I do have a healthy interest in cars, and I also have a camera, so I popped down to Christchurch Park in Ipswich this morning (I know, I'm brave in such dreadful weather) and took some pictures. Enjoy. I know it's an unusual colour (and not my taste), but there's a lot right about this one. The nicest rear end on any car, ever. The 80s, when you're rich. Aston Martin Volante, in white. With white hood. And white leather. And probably Sade on the tape player. Nice looking Viva HC. Crying out for nice wheels though. Gorgeous late 50s Ford Pick Up Lovely Mk3 - hope there isn't a traffic cop nearby - they might not get away with that plate... Go on, admit it, when was the last time you saw a base model early Sierra? Nope, me neither. I still knew exactly what it was when I first saw it though! Nice 2.3 V6 Mk4 My kind of Landie

Lovely 6-series although it's about as "M" as my VW Bora. It was an auto - kind of gave it away! One for you @hotwire?? Unusual colour for an RS2000 - I like, though I'm not sure Doyle from The Professionals would have... Nice late E21 Datsun Laurel - I have a soft spot for these. Twin-Plenum Vitesse was rather tasty

My favourite car on the run - Trident Clipper Ventura V6. Gorgeous thing. P5 was rather nice. 3 litre too, not a V8. Orange Ginetta was also extremely good looking. Front end of a Corsair. Just because. This 911 is SO close to perfection for me! Ford Galaxie Sunliner was uttely huge. And RHD!! One for nomad ??

This has vulgalour written all over it. Princess Limo!! Nice low Karmann. Not sure about that colour though. I want to take this, make it handle and drop something powerful in it. And band the steelies. Supercharged Mini engine bay. The owner says it has 130BHP. He also claimed 130 mph. Not sure that's feasible but hey, it's still cool. Lovely Mustang dash - note the little model on the centre console This Bug looks almost perfect to me. Just lose the roof rack and I would happily have it as it is, and change nothing else.

Enormous 70s Chrysler took up a lot of the field... V12 E-type cooling off. There not a lot of space under there... ivangt6 Something to aspire to? Consul Capri. looking' nice Alfasud looked in regular use - certainly no trailer queen.

Lovely CE coupe. Mildly modified Capri looked good There was also a Milk Float - I really want to make one of these with Tesla running gear. Imagine the acceleration!! And there were also buses. This is a Bristol RE - it might even be the same bus that I got into trouble on a Primary school swimming trip for d!cking about at the back in about 1982...

I knew about the sister car - VJX802V - to that limo but not that one. Incredibly rare now, perhaps half a dozen left worldwide and only a dozen or so ever built.

[/quote] I reckon one of the rarest Sierras out there must be a 3 door base spec car with the grey grill. Ironically there was a Sierra L at Beaulieu today, unrestored with about 50,000 miles on the clock.
