 Erm.......  And living in the middle of the country, close to all the F1 teams and associated businesses. A load of mates had F1 parts kicking about as furniture and ornaments 20-25 years ago...... once they got married, those items were replaced with throw cushions  Couple of mates had wheel tables, one had a rear wing table  |

1) Best touring car/ homage to touring cars I am bound by honour to pay tribute to dear old Monty here, who raced CTCRC before I owned it.  2) Coolest campervan or car-caravan/car based camping combo I met this family last year. If you don't know the story they met and became a couple, decided on a whim to buy a 1928 Graham-Paige in need of work. They had no prior mechanical experience at all. Then they set off to travel the world in it. They've lived in it for 18 years and drove it all over the world. All of their children have been born, and have therefore lived their entire lives, in that car. Ok maybe I should have said Saloon race cars rather than touring because I always intended to post the Carlton Thundersaloon. But as a bonus I found this epic 309 whilst looking for a good pic of the Carlton.  Factory Saab Caravan  Even better than I hoped to find!!!  |

I saw it at the NEC last year (or the year before). I find it strangely appealing. You waft around in a big rumbly V8 barge with leather and wood until you get tired or peckish. |
