Make a post containing pics that fit the three categories. After 24hrs somebody chooses the next three categories. Who should choose the next three? Most post likes? There's something about that that I'm wanting to shy away from but I'm stumped for another method so let's see if it works. Make your post to earn the right to like other posts.
Too many rules. Not enough cool old cars.
Catagories: One you lusted after as a child. A pre-war one. One with a different car manufacturers wheels.
Go!

One you lusted after as a childMarsh Plant Hire Aston Martin (as driven by Gerry Marshall) (This car, well the evolution of it as it changed since that photo was taken, will be at Retro Rides Weekender and that is my favourite thing that has ever happened). A Pre-war oneAlmost cheating to post Scaldwell's GN J.A.P ... but I don't care Goodwood 74th Members Meeting by Retro Rides, on Flickr One with a different car manufacturers wheelsLincoln Towncar wheels are great

Couldn't find a pic of a good bubble arched one. But a yellow Mk1 is what I'd have listed over when I was 12. I'm old enough to have bought them when normal people could too. That ship has long since sailed. I love this for the same reason I like boso/garuchan/kaido racer type styles. The utter commitment to the extreme. High on my current want list is a W124 wagon. This one would do nicely.

So V8 vantage Pre-war Wife’s grandfather worked for someone with a car collection, he had one of these (think I was a replica) but it sounded awesome Car on another manufacturers wheels This was the tricky one.... but saw this last year at Stonor and it’s a marmite car, but i really liked the wheels (think it was model Y at the front and Wolseley rear

Ok, I take my responsibilities seriously so.... The next 3 criteria are...
1. Cars that your Dad owned that you would have in a heartbeat
2. Cars that would be just perfect.. .if only it were hit with the lowering stick
3. Cars with either head or taillights from another make.
Go for it.

1. Cars that your Dad owned that you would have in a heartbeat: Ford Consul. For when Granadas are just too luxurious. 2. Cars that would be just perfect.. .if only it were hit with the lowering stick My Father-In-Law's Subaru flat-six powered T25. Far too high...it suffers in both the looks and handling department. 3. Cars with either head or taillights from another make. Posting this Caddy before anyone else does! I suppose people could still post the front...and maybe post it again in its new colour. Awesome little Caddy!
