So now I have a cool 3D jigsaw puzzle.
A preliminary check of the besrings shows them to be ok, although its hard to tell with taper bearings. They'll all be replaced anyway.
Most importantly, all the gears seem to be fine with no chips or damage. The syncros all change ok too.
I might get a pro to cast his/her eye over them but I'm happy the box isnt duff.
Ive been dying to know what that little pull up knob for the reverse lock does inside the box. And heres the answer -
Just a spring loaded pin that moves up and down about 15mm
