Starts stops and handles reasonably well, it's an old van so not the fastest thing in the world but the 1.9 straight diesel keeps it reliably plodding along, it's fitted with a Bosch fuel pump so can run on vegetable oil if that's your kinda thing.
The van has some distant connection to Practical Classics where it was bought by one of their staff for some feature where they drove around Yorkshire or something like that.
I've had the van for a few months and it's had light use, it's quite tatty looking but is solid in all of the right places, the ends of the sills and rear arches have been replaced.
I have also replaced the doors, tailgate, lights and starter motor from a 305 estate I have sitting.
The orange beacon works and there's a tow bar, I think it was previously a working van in Huntingdon, Cambridge.
My plans for the van were to have some old school sign writing on the side and fit a turbo diesel engine I have sitting for it but I've spotted something a car on eBay miles away that I'd like and selling the van to raise the money seems like the most sensible option.

The van will come on the original grey steel wheels as seen in the last photo, the rallye steels are on my other 305 estate.
