Offers over £3000 So after almost a year of s12 ownership, regrettably I need to let her go to free up some cash for a life time trip to Florida. I have done less than 500 miles since owning it, so just seems a waste. I purchased this as a weekend toy and to put in a garage and watch the value go up as they become rarer but unfortunately I have lost access to a garage now. It's a 1985 mk1 Nissan silvia turbo s12 manual 5 speed rear wheel drive. It’s got just 66k miles on the clock and passed its last mot on the 17th November 2017. There are only 6 of this year still on the road according to howmanyleft.co.uk. The guy I got it off has had it 27 years and has done only 5k miles in the last ten years, just driving locally to keep it on the road. It was stored in his garage and he kept it MOTd almost every year of ownership. It's totally original other than the radio, but it came with the original too so this can be put back in. The car started life in Leeds and has remained here ever since. It was purchased on the 14/12/1985 from Fletcher Motors Limited, Meadow Road, Leeds, LS11. Its was sold to a Mr R C Metcalfe of Edgbaston Walk, LS17. The car has its original service book and owners manual, as well as original spec sheets and import cards. The service book shows services up to 1990 all in the Leeds area, with 14 stamps. The previous owner to me purchased the car on 09/02/1990 and carried out all the service work himself since (I have some retro photos showing this happening), so it has no other paperwork to reflect services past this date, other than a clutch replacement on 09/09/91. The car is 32 years old so isn't immaculate, but as there are so few of these, you probably won't find many as good as this. Since losing my garage, it has started to gather a bit of rust around the bodywork. The rust is present around the wheel arches and a few other areas such as the side indicator and then odd small bits at the bottom of the doors. It looks to have had the outer sills fixed at some point, but they may need a tidy up soon. It did pass it’s MOT at quick fit in its current condition and you know they can be very picky. Remember this is 32 years old so some is to be expected. It also has some paint scrapes and peel on the bumpers. The car bodywork will need some touch up work if you want it to be perfect, which I think is fairly reflected in the price. The interior is like new and All electrics work, including the headlight wipers. To find one with the rear spoiler still intact is rare, showing this has been well stored over the last 2years, with 3 previous owners showing on the V5. This is not your average drift monster, this is original and rare Nissan S12 Turbo, which can only increase in value as time goes on. If you are genuinely interested, send me a PM. The price isn't fixed as it's hard to value, so anyone who is genuinely interested please make a fair offer over the stated price. The car starts and drives first time everytime. I can provide pictures of the rusty areas for anyone who needs them. Please get I touch to arrange a viewing in Leeds. The car will come with a fresh service. People can ask whatever they want for their own car. Fantastic 80’s turbo, when it was cool to have TURBO decals on a car.

I didn’t realise this was eBay! I don’t get the issue, everyone does offers around, it’s no different. I’m not asking for people to bid on here!

Rules section - All adverts must contain an actual price in the title, not 'offers' and not a silly price just to avoid putting a real price. If you don't know how much to ask, use the 'What's It Worth' section.

That is no different to him putting it up for £3k ono and accepting £2.5k really. There is no ambiguity we know he wants north of three grand but less than four so any interested party will haggle. I don't see the issue!! Its a smashing car and deserves a loving new owner.

When someone states “offers above” I just read it as that is their bottom line price. A less harsh way of saying £3000 no offers?
That’s how I’ve always thought about that statement anyhow. I don’t think there is anything wrong with how the seller has advertised this lovely car.

The car look lovely.
*Asking as admin* Could someone turn up with £3000 and buy it?
If so, then the ads fine. If they can't then you need to put the price that actually would buy it (or list it somewhere like ebay and let people bid).

Nice car bud! I know your trying to free up some funds to go Florida but I thought it would be worth asking if you'd be interested in swapping for a 96 Toyota Starlet Glanza V? It's 205 Black. Has CT9 Hybrid turbo custom built by Midland Turbo with billet bearing shaft and bigger grooved fins, Zisco Ramhorn manifold, Roadrunner split decat pipe, LSD manual gearbox, Miester R coilovers, powerflex polymer bushes, RSR panard Rod and drilled brake discs. Sitting on a set of ultra rare Enkei RS split lightweight alloys. Also has a few optional extras like Pioneer Carrozzeria light up rear speakers, rear boot strut brace with all plastics, Chrome handles, Gold toyota badge, etc. Will come with some parts that I didn't get around to fitting like Greddey Electronic Boost Controller, Blitz Nur Spec exhaust system and some other bits and bobs. Most importantly and surprisingly, the car is solid above and underneath with no rust at all! I usually take side skirts off when washing the car to ensure it doesn't develop in my ownership. The car starts getting boost at around 2k rpm, with full boost coming in at around 3.5-4k rpm at 14-15 psi! I've got a Walbro Fuel Pump which I planned to put on when I get a standalone ECU. Don't be fooled with it only being a 1.3. It's a very quick little car. I've already dicked friends 3.0 tdi Audi Quatrro and managed to keep up with a 17 plate S4 on rolling start (Although I can't confirm how far he was pushing his foot as I didn't know him). I'd keep it but it's going to get me into trouble.
