Once again I bow before those with superior knowledge! Last week I bought an extremely non retro Fiat Doblo WAV for my son which we intend "doing up a bit". Its only got 33000 miles on it but belonged to an old man who managed to dent & scuff up the colour coded front bumper. Someone in their outstanding wisdom then decided to "blow over" the scuffs etc with non matching rattle can paint which looks worse than if they had left it alone! Anyhoo, any tips/procedures on removing this horrible stuff so I can see the original damage would be appreciated. It may be that I can do a better repair until paying a pro to do it later in the year!

Didn't think it would be as simple as that, hence the thread! Will get some decent thinners and give it a bash

because the aersol paint is so thin , the solvent in the thinners will break it down quick ,

Always found Acetone to be brilliant for removing rattle can paint
