Hi, here goes my first post in this thread, hopfully many more to follow as I know of a few retro cars locally. Ok I took these a few years ago now but only just found the memory card they were on, First pic was taken at Oakley scrap yeard in Buckinghamshire, he always has a few old retro cars stuck up the back. Not sure what it is mind. I took this picture at Hughes scrap yard, it was well out the way from the normal scrap fodder, I think it was actually removed to be restored as it disapeared one day . Isn't that top one a kit car from back in the day based on a vw bug called a nova? sure it had a pop up cab.......if it isn't it looks like one! Lol

The 'white' kit is an Avante. There are some nice ones on google images. don't know much about them or whats underneath but it won't last long parked in the long grass.

The one with the green/white cover looks like a pinzgauer? Think they are both made by steyr puch? They are all Haflingers, just different variants. The Pinzgauer is a very similar looking beastie but much bigger- but you are right, they are both of Steyr Puch origin (I think the rights to the Pinz have moved about a bit, seem to recall BAE built them for a while). Well, except the tractor. I think that's a Zetor, but don't quote me on that A quick google and I'm pretty certain it is a Zetor, probably of a similar age to the Haflingers.

Just round the corner from my house. Lhd and on a 76/77 reg? Interesting history here as no 411's were made after '72.

Lhd and on a 76/77 reg? Interesting history here as no 411's were made after '72. The reg would have been issued on the date of import. I had a 72 type3 on a Y plate as it came from Cyprus.
