If I'm using a relay to switch my fuel pump on and off, is it ok to tap a wire from the fuel pump +ve to power the relay? If so does it need an inline fuse?
I know nothing about wiring!
Thanks in advance

Iād bang in a fuse for my own safety. Is this an ECU-controlled live?

Ok cool i will... No ecu controls the earth, which is why i wondered if it was dodgy using the fuel pump +ve for the relay

Anything externally added on will need a Fuse IMHO.
