I want to start thinking about getting my Astra sorted, but it won't be my main car. I have 10 years no claims currently in use on my main car, what company is best to go For? It's going to get infrequent use, less thank 5k a year, but worried that having my no claims elsewhere is going to give me a hefty premium. Plus being a 94 Astra, I doubt its seen as classic atm. Who do you recommend?

Axa. Matched my no claims onto another policy. So have two policy's with 10 years each

Chris Knott did a mirrored NCB policy on my ZX, its rather modified, and its a ZX, so no chance of a classic policy.

It wouldn't surprise me to find that '94 does qualify for classic insurance policies (it's nearly 25 year old), it has to be worth asking. Classic insurance won't use use you NCB, and the fact it's not your main car has to help.  |
