After a few annoying problems (hard to start, cutting out when warm) my car finally died. No fuel pump priming - after a lengthy process of elimination I have discovered the fuel pump circuit on the ecu is burnt out.
Someone very helpful on the facebook "young retro motor club" group pointed out that this is a common problem with scimitar ss1... they have a bosh fuel pump and as they draw more power than the standard nissan one, they tend to burn out the circuit track and/or resistor.
Anyone done this repair and have a pic they can send me? I feel like I almost know what i'm doing but want to be totally sure before I start cutting resistors out of the ecu
