I need a good side project to do as sometimes the big stuff is a bit overwhelming.
So on my trip computer, while this picture doesn't seem to show it, there are definitely times certain characters don't display properly (IE: are faded). I am assuming this is a fault with the screen, rather than the entire unit. I need to get back to the garage, but once I'm there and I can get the retched switches surrounding the trip computer off (honestly, trim is such a scary pain!) ... I got a few options, and one that seems tempting is whether to dump the whole thing (spares/repair on eBay) and replace it with a XJS analogue clock (at originality's expense!) .
Advice please?
