Hi all
I have been offered a decent size Ultrasonic cleaner from work. The unit works but only in a small area rather than across the whole tank. Reading bits on the web it may be the ultrasonics separating from the tank itself, anyone have any idea? The unit is more than big enough to fit a straight 6 cylinder head in if I can repair it but if I cant I will use it to make a parts washer as its all stainless with a lid.
Thanks in advance

Could be that the one of the transducers come adrift from the tank.Get it and have a look see. Most likely something simple/ vibration related. 😊

I'll ask my boss at work tomorrow if he knows what might be the problem.
I work in the Sterilising department ( we reprocess and sterilise reusable medical equipment..aka clean all the blood/tissue/fat etc.. off of surgical instruments!) of our local hospital.
He's an engineer by trade and has fitted/tested and repaired many of them over the years.
