Anyone know of any blogs of mk3 cortina or similar rwd with modern engine for economy. Like ecoboost etc.
Or should it just not be bothered with due to difficulty/possibility

Just thought. I have a 2001 Mondeo Sat in the drive doing nothing with a 2.0 duratec HE engine.
Is this a better possibility in a mk3 cortina ?

well they are commonly fitted to mk1 and 2 escorts so would fit into a mk3 Cortina

Depends a lot on what you mean by economy. My ex had a Mk3 2000E for a while and it didn't seem to hog the juice too badly.
