This 1994 BMW 525i Sport manual in Avus Blue is a nice example, with just 112k miles covered and with a desirable half leather black interior.
Many of these cars, especially in blue, were ordered with grey or silver interiors, but the black, coupled with the dark Bird's Eye Maple interior wood trim (specific to Sport cars only) and Sport black headlining, really suit it, and is understandably one of the best available options.
The bodywork is in reasonable original condition. There are a few small dings and marks around the body, but importantly, no rust. It has previously had some minor welding to the inner sills and under the side-skirts, all protected by a full undersealing application. The bodykit is missing none of the tow-eye covers as so often happens, and the front bumper is not hanging in the middle, retaining it's shape well.
The M50 steel-block engine is running smoothly and the clutch and gearbox are in good order too. The suspension is good and the car has been fitted with good quality lowering springs as E34s do tend to sit high at the front.
There are no other modifications save for the 16" wheels that have been fitted. The exhaust is all original, the LSD is quiet and working, and there are no electrical faults. The car is equipped with the optional OBC and no errors appear on the dash. All the pixels work on the dash display, a minor marvel in itself.
There is an MOT in place until August 17th, and viewing is welcome, in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone.
The price on this appreciating retro / modern classic is *NOW SOLD*.
