Well with a heavy heart I have decided to sell my T2 pick up.
I've only had it in storage it was bought as a restoration project from A Volkswagen specialist that carried out the work for me to my high standard.
The pick-up itself has gone through and extensive restoration with every panel being sorted fixed repaired primer sprayed Then finished to the standard you can see. I was very fussy customer and insisted it had new fuel lines a fire suppression system and absolutely no wires in the engine bay compartment that shouldn't be on show
The whole point of the project was to make.The vehicle look like it come out of the factory instead of a concourse vehicle
It was featured in a VW bus magazine which I can supply a PDF of the article to any interested purchasers. Images of feature below
The only addition I made was the Oak slats in the back to protect the rear of the pick up if it was ever used!. The trouble is I've owned this for a 2 ½ years now and done 20 miles max
It so it seems a bit pointless owning a vehicle like this that should be used and not using it.
