The SAAB indicator arm on my 900 is useless - and has been useless on every 900 I have owned - even after buying an expensive new replacement they don't stay up (right) due to a design fault. The arms are not easy to repair and are cheaply made.
How would I fit another arm? The electrics are very simple only consisting of three switches - I can easily make a bracket for another but I don't know where to start. Are there any 'generic' indicator arms out there, or does anyone know of another type of arm which would help?
An elastic band wrapped around the column hooked to the arm does help but looks rubbish.....
My full beam works off a spare switch on the dash which isn't any problem as the hi-beam is a toggle switch, so just left/right is needed.
