1973 VW 1303S Beetle, Kettering. £3500

Reg. 2/1/73 so built 72'. Two owners from new.
Yrs MOT, on sorn .. may be exempt next April (as it's a stock vehicle) !!
Obviously tax exempt.
The original 1600cc engine has been completely rebuilt & has covered 10k miles.
AT box same as AS is in gwo, Strong brakes (again lots done) & to the steering etc.
Original interior, dark blue velour seats .. all in good condition for the age, may benefit from a new carpet set.
The exterior was painted in Porsche Sea Blau a good 15/20 yrs ago and is starting to show it's age .. no rot, simple DIY (looks better in the pic's)
Been off the road for ten years, dry stored.
The previous owners (34yrs) brother worked for a VW specialist in London & did all the work during this period: engine rebuild, x4 nos wings, respray, starter motor, dynamo, bumpers etc ..
After it's 10yr sleep it needed work to bring it up to date/MOT :
New center tie rod, o/s tie rod end, x2 new bushes for track control arms.
x2 brake discs, x2 front flexi pipes, x2 rear wheel cylinders & axle set of rear shoes.
Rubber bush for steering damper.
Engine service: oil, dissy cap & rotor, plugs, condensor, all fuel lines/clips & filter.
Replacement carb (34 pict3) rear crank oil seal, clutch release bearing (wrong type fitted) fresh gearbox oil.

Good tyres, exhaust, good heating .. Solid beetle no rot, drives really well.
