	There is a crimping tool to crimp HT ends onto off the roll cable you can buy. Bought a small roll of HT lead and made a couple of sets for my own cars. In the past I have used pliers and a stanley knife to redo failed ends to get me home

	Thanks for the reply. I have just been looking at the crimp tool. Also realised the first link is to a solid copper core which I have been told isn't any good for fairly modern cars. I'm guessing it needs to be the graphite type.

	I bought a kit from a company at the NEC, that has enough cable and ends to make a set of leads, also comes with a crimp tool to use in a vice to do the ends. I haven't used it yet, but the idea was sound. Just under £20 I think. It was from Powerspark Ignition, I guess the idea is to save them having specific sets for low-demand vehicles.

	I have had problems with modern ready made leads shorting out and causing a misfire so I make my own copper leads now, similar to what you have linked to, for my TR7. The only issue I had to contend with was radio interference but just fitted resister spark plugs and problem solved. They are far more reliable than the modern silicon leads imo.
