Hi guys
Thought I'd put it on here just in case...
Basically seen a set of emblems I want for my car but the seller won't ship to the UK.
Would anyone be wiling to have them shipped to their address in the US to then ship them to me? Obviously will cover all postage costs.
Let me know if you don't mind doing it, would be much appreciated.
Cheers Dave

I don't live in the states sorry, but I have had the same issue with some firms from the good Ol US of A, it appears they don't like shipping stuff outside of their country for some strange reason.

Yeah I've had it a few times now, really don't understand what the difference is as long as the postage is covered?

The problem is usually down to the lack of adequate tracking and people submitting unscrupulous claims for non-receipt of goods. Shipping isn't actually that expensive US>UK.

Yeah I agree with that but through ebay/Paypal as long as it's sent recorded you should be sound. I've sent wheels several times over to the states and never hesitated, the only thing different is declaration/VAT forms and price so as long as it's covered I couldn't care less where you live as long as you pay through the appropriate channels, ay.

I've never had any problem either, I've sent stuff to Cyprus where the postal system is notoriously bad with no bother.

Set up an account on myus. I used it last week, seems a good service.

I'll have a look at Myus for next time.
Managed to sort it out now, which I'm glad about because you can't buy them in the UK and they're pretty much non-existent for sale in the US also.
Thanks for the replies lads.

I know the thread is effectively closed but for info, I've used TransGlobal Express both ways several times.
They consign through DHL with a fully tracked service and were a fraction of the 'official' DHL pricing. Also insured a warranty return carb for full value despite being 'NIL' value for Customs declaration. Pretty quick service too!
Good people to deal with.
Hope this is of some use sometime.
