There are quite a few big accessible lotteries these days which roll over and mount up to obscene jackpot amounts, one of the big US run lotteries recently rolled over to £¾ Billion, (single winner). If that enormous lottery win came in and money was no object, if you had a big country pile with garage barn / stable space for 20 cars, what would you narrow it down to it and in what order? My own selection might go something like; Jaguar Mk X / 420G. Jaguar XJ12C. Daimler Double-Six Series 1. Jaguar E-type Series 1 3.8 litre. Jaguar XJ12 X305 (6 litre). VW Golf GTi Mk 1. Bentley repro 'Meteor special' (27 litre V12). Lamborghini Countach. Ferrari Dino. Bugatti Royale repro. Jaguar XK120. Jaguar XJ220. AC (Shelby) Cobra. Jensen CV8. Gordon Keeble. Ford Model T Speedster. Morris Oxford (MO) 'Woody' Traveller. Mercedes-Benz 600 (W100). Jaguar Mk IX. Austin 7 Ulster Special. (& a Brough Superior SS100). Too greedy? (or too restrained?)

Personally, I can't see the point of having 20 cars, unless you are starting a museum :-)
Huge garage with all the tools imaginable to play with. Then get on with building the Elan properly with no expense spared. MUCH more fun than looking at a row of flash cars which isn't my scene really.
I would buy a decent racecar transporter/motorhome.
For day to day driving, probably a Koenigsegg Agera R, mainly because I like his attitude towards car manufacturing. However, I won't be doing much driving as I will be ensconced in my man cave playing with my Elan :-)
Pay off all my friends mortgages.

I've had this conversation with friends before and in a sea of new Lamborghini's and Bugatti's, my answers always raise a few eyebrows. As above, I'd only want a few cars/bikes, any more is pointless. In no particular order:
Mk2 Escort Warrior Ferrari F40 Chevette HS BMW E28 M5 Honda VFR400 NC30 (in blue/white/red) Rover P6 3500S
For daily duties, a new Alpina B3 Touring.

I'm in agreeance with nalesutol. While it would be awesome to have all of the cars in the world I have other interests besides cars and I really enjoy driving them. Sure, I don't mind a bit of spannering but it's about the road trips, travelling out to places and really feeling the vibe of occasion. The French Wine Tour Trip really encapsulates that vibe. I wouldn't mind a Roadkill style farm yard however, although it would always seem like a waste to me ; someone else could be enjoying the cars more than me. Anyway, I'd whittle it down to these: -Either an Eagle Low Drag GT or my own self built E-Type S1 Drop top : That's with Jenveys, Emerald, all of the suspension bits done some fancy rims on like like the powder blue E-type Coupe that was about. -Lotus Elan Sprint -I'd like to think that I'd keep my M3 and do the 'dream tweaks' that I always wanted ; the main one would be the CSL Airbox. I never thought I'd say that. -A Shelby GT500 or a Dodge Charger with a Big Block Mopar -Citroen DS Safari running modern injection to hopefully bring it up to my friend's DS21 Pallas EFI's power level . For me that's a nice amount of power. -I'd like an old Ford in there ; Something like a Mk2 Cortina 2 Door running either a SBF or a Ford Zetec on 45s or Jenveys with the suspension and brakes done to accommodate for it. -MacLaren F1. I'd probably also put in the flip out screen Pioneer Car Play into some of the older cars bar the Elan and the Merc (A Becker in that one). Damn, I was hoping to wish this modifying bug would be out of me. But it isn't. That list will probably change in a year's time too. The Old Ford thing I've wanted for quite some time however as well as the E-Type build. Buying my mate's a couple of cars would be nice if possible! As well as a workshop to cater for what I'd want to do.

Too spooky... I had this exact thought to do a thread on this exact subject! Didn't have time today though. It was only yesterday that I was browsing for such a vehicle... No... I haven't won squat on a lottery, but I do win everyday...at life (not).

Have thought about this, it would probably be a massive hanger/barn full of lots of random j tat, some exotics and random stuff I think is cool.
Would really like to build boring cars into interesting cars and probably turn them over regularly. So would obviously need a nice workshop and maybe a team of mechanics lol.
Depends how much I have won.

I'm 6'6" tall so exotic sports cars are out for me, so; Jensen CV8 as a daily Renault Goelette van with modern running gear as a parts getter/general shifter/tow barge, Hudson Hornet Marshal Teague replica race car to startle the villagers, and a Chrysler C23 Imperial just because.
Of course the Green Meanie Escort will still be with me.

A Bristol for everyday use, probably a 412/Beaufighter or 603/Brigand. A big wafty barge with electric everything, maybe an Audi A8. A Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RS. And just because I like big square things, a Vauxhall Viscount and a Ford Mk4 Executive.
Honourable mentions to: Ford Consul Capri Toyota CROWN 60 series Lancia Thema 8.32 Ford RS200

I would buy a few houses all over the world. We have family all over the place. So, some real estate would be handy. Most family is in Holland so I would buy a nice big house there with a nice big garage. There will be a at least one fast (-ish) modern/new BMW in the garage.
At home I would get a new Land Cruiser or Tundra with a nice slide on camper and Bimma for the lovely girl.
Picking a retro will be much harder. Most are awesome.
