How did it end up being a week into December already!?
As we come closer to the end of 2017 I thought I'd do a little "what were your favourite" type picks for the year.
Favourite Car You Saw This Year
I'm cheating and picking two, mainly because one isn't retro.

Porsche 997 Flatnose by Retro Rides, on Flickr
I love this thing so much, I think it may be one of my favourite cars I've ever seen, let alone just in 2017
From the same event, I finally saw this in the flesh

SEMA 2017 by Retro Rides, on Flickr
It did not disappoint in any way shape or form (except for the fact it is going to live in the US of A rather than return to Europe)
Favourite Event Of The Year
It would be easy to say SEMA, but frankly it was super hard work and as detailed in our Vlogs I kind of over did it with the work side of things and should have spent more time just enjoying it. Whilst I was working at Goodwood Members Meeting it was still a very enjoyable event to be at, the range of cars is great. If I can pitch The Weekender somewhere between The Gathering and Members Meeting I'll consider it a success.
This is what I was doing working there and it sums it up nicely![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
Favourite Thread Of The Year
In all honesty this is super hard to pick, there are loads of cool threads (and some that get lost), which is why I restarted doing an email every couple of weeks to remind me next year! I'm going to cop out a little, but it is definitely in my top five Tuxman's Noble thread, a tale of triumph over adversity that should be a great inspiration for us all.
So what did you all enjoy?
