The BMW 3.0S is a luxury Saloon produced from 1968-1977 and boasts a respectable 178hp.
This particular car has been garage stored since 1989 when the former owner gave up driving.
Because it was dry stored it is solid underneath which is rare for a 70's BMW.
It comes with a boot-full of spares and is mostly complete.
The 3.0 Straight 6 engine runs sweetly however the carburetor is now removed as it is seized.
The Clutch still functions and selects gears well. The brake master cylinder has been rebuilt or replaced also.
The interior is tidy and unmolested as to be expected of a dry stored car with 71,000 miles.
The car will require a fair amount of bodywork and a full-respray to make it nice again, It's not a weekends work.
These are an extremely rare car and with some TLC and money spent would be a lovely rare Classic Saloon.
These are already fetching over £10,000 in nice condition and are set to rise.
There are only 12 licensed on the UK roads currently and 5-SORN making it a really rare Classic.
