After a hard fought struggle with sentiment I have decided to put up my RX4 for sale. I have had it for 6 years now and have sourced all the hard to get parts and panels but due to opening up a restoration shop and work starting to pick up pace this poor car has been pushed further down the list of things to do and realistically I don't think we will have time to complete. We started this car 6 years ago and it has been pushed to the back of the queue time and time again and its a shame.
It is believed to be the only 4 door in the UK and being an RX4 is quite rare also. Over the years we have sourced all sorts of bits most being genuine Mazda parts also. V5c present.
We stripped everything off the shell and fitted new rear quarters and sills. The car is 90% there, the only things I can remember not being there are the front screen which we were going to get pilkington glass to make, headlining, carpets, some badges and original engine and gearbox.
There are the original doors (previous owner decided to weld up rear door handles badly).
2 replacement rear doors.
2 front door skins.
Replacement rear panel plus the original on car which has no issues.
new sills were fitted.
2 new rear quarters fitted.
new boot lid fitted and original included.
new bonnet and original included.
new front wings plus the originals that have been repaired.
2 sets of bumpers originals and new sourced set.
original grill.
new headlight chrome rings.
New door handles.
New rear lights.
new front apron panel.
new chrome trim.
Original front and rear seats.
There may be more but that's all I can remember, will dig through boxes to see if I've missed anything.
All the suspension, steering and rear diff and brakes are present and all the dash and interior are also there minus the headlining and carpet.
As I said above it never came to us with engine or box but we can offer a 12a and gearbox out of our stash if it makes asking price or can negotiate a separate price.
I can get pictures of anything specific if needed just ask.
It is currently on a trolley so can be left on for the above price if helps with loading.
Obviously a van will be required for all the bits it comes with.
Some of the pics are poor quality as I took them from an old build thread from another forum but will be getting all the bits together and sorting through in the coming week so anything specific you need to see just ask.
We are looking for £3500 as it is a rare car, and all the hard parts have been sourced, also the spares that don't get used used are worth good money too.
